Cathay Pacific has launched its new Prepaid Extra Baggage booking service, which offers a 20% discount on the standard excess baggage rate.
Passengers are currently entitled to between 30kg and 50kg of standard luggage allowance depending on their class of travel. Passengers wanting to bring more baggage than this on a Cathay Pacific-operated flight can now prepay online, with prices ranging from $50(R725+-) to $160(R2 320+-) per extra 5kg up to a maximum of 50kg if they book at least 24 hours before departure.
