Turkish Airlines announced that it will be extending its 'Stopover' service to passengers flying from South Africa with a layover of between six to 24-hours. The service includes a complimentary tour of the city, and free accommodation for long stopovers.
Passengers need to be flying to Asia, Far East and Americas (The USA, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Panama, Venezuela, Cuba), the UK, Ireland, Israel, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Tunisia.
Economy class passengers receive a complimentary one-night stay at a 4-star hotel, while business class passengers receive a two-night stay at a 5-star hotel in central points in Istanbul popular with tourists.
