The extended codeshare will now add Toronto as an additional destination on offer, and also offer a direct service between Addis Ababa to both Cape Town and Durban.
The African airlines already codeshare from Addis Ababa to Johannesburg and from Addis Ababa to Bamako with all these flights operated by Ethiopian aircraft.
In return, Ethiopian Airlines codeshares on SAA-operated services between Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban and Windhoek.
SAA customers can now fly on Ethiopian Airlines using the SA ticket code, while Ethiopian Airlines’ customers will be able to fly on SAA using the ET code.
