If you are travelling to Mozambique on business, even just for one meeting, you now need to apply for a business visa.
According to TNW, the Mozambique labour department has started conducting inspections and imposing fines (based on one month’s salary of the top-earning employee) on companies that host meetings with foreign nationals who don’t have business visas.
While the High Commission couldn’t confirm the exact extent of the fines, travellers have been warned to rather apply for their business visa before departing.
