SAA connects you to Africa
Over the decades, South African Airways has evolved into one of the leading carriers in Africa. The airline offers the biggest route network on the continent and flies to more destinations, both overseas and within South Africa, than any other carrier operating in the African airspace.
Corporate Traveller investigates the enhanced routes, frequencies and services introduced by SAA into Africa and beyond and how they benefit business travellers.
Route Network
From Accra to Zurich SAA crosses the globe. The airline’s African route network is fairly expansive and from 31 October three new destinations will be added. These are Bujumbura (Burundi), Kigali (Rwanda) and Cotonou (Benin).
Other improvements SAA made to its route network earlier in the year include increased frequencies to Entebbe and Uganda from March (daily flights). An additional flight to Harare, Zimbabwe, operating on Tuesdays, was added, bringing the total number of frequencies to 18 per week. Larger aircraft are now also operating on certain flights to Nairobi (Kenya) and Windhoek (Namibia).
From 1 October SAA will commence operations to Ndola, Zambia.
Mobile Access
SAA has launched its very own mobile portal, allowing passengers to access comprehensive travel and airline information from just one point of reference, anywhere, anytime, using their mobile phone.
Visit the portal at http://m.flysaa.com to access airline flight schedules; directions to airline lounges at airports around the world; flight arrival and departure information; currency converter and destination information such as weather forecasts, for any city in the world.
