Zanokhanyo Children's Safety Home

Zanokhanyo Children's Safety Home is located in Makhasa, Khayelitsha in Cape Town. This grassroots children’s home looks after abandoned or orphaned children. Twenty six children from the age of two to twenty call Zanokhanyo their home where Nolu and her husband Christofe do all they can to keep these children warm, safe, fed and educated. As the government no longer registers children’s homes they receive no funding from the government and rely soley on the kindness of corporates and private donations for their basic essentials such as food and electricity.

In December 2011 Corporate Traveller took Zanokhanyo on as its second CSI project. We are committed to providing ongoing support in the form of sponsorship, volunteering in social development projects and running regular activities.
