British Airways has confirmed that cabin crew who are members of Mixed Fleet Unite, who service a minority of the airline’s flights to and from London Heathrow, have called for industrial action on January 10 and 11.
Despite impending industrial action, the airline says the majority of its flights to and from London Heathrow will operate as normal.
BA released a statement saying that the contingency plan for the strike will see the airline merging some flights to and from Heathrow. “This will mean some customers will travel slightly earlier or later in the day than their original booking,” says BA.
“Customers affected are being contacted with the options available for them,” says BA.
The airline says all flight to and from London Gatwick and London City will operate as normal.
